When Poppy met daisy launch

Great leather piece for the fashion forward.
Fashion, live music, bubbly, cupcakes and Hats!!!

Last night’s launch of When Poppy Met Daisy – fashion design school was a resounding success.
The Grand Social on Liffey street, Dublin played host to Lorna Daly and her team who put on a wonderful reception for their guests with bubbly on arrival and some very tasty cupcakes, macaroons and chocolates! Live musicians and a DJ entertained the large crowd in what was a hugely positive look at the future of fashion design in Ireland.

Lorna Daly has been in business for three years with When Poppy Met Daisy offering everything in needle and thread courses and is now eager to expand the company with new courses including photography, styling and fashion illustration coming soon.
Last night, MC's by Laura Mullett, showcased the work of current and previous sewing and design students and celebrated how far they have come since.
PrincessPalles were delighted to be part of the night as it supports local Irish business and talent.

PrincessPalles are graduates of the sewing machine course with when poppy met daisy and were asked to show off pieces from the Autumn/Winter ’13 collection.
The mix of rich velvets in deep winter tones with pheasant and real peacock feathers went down a storm with the on looking audience. The collection was helped along by the striking heads they adorned on the night. The collection is really polished and has a great mixture of texture and colour. There really is something for everyone in this collection with edgy rock chick leather pieces, girly bows in vibrant pinks or reds and classic elegance - plush velvets in deep earthy tones teamed with rich feathers and vintage buttons.

Here at PrincessPalles we are really proud of the collection and it was great to see it come to life on the models last night and we thank Lorna for the great coverage she gave Princesspalles.

We want to wish Lorna and her team lots of success on her future ventures!
