Valentines Day, our one true love in Millinery
Hi All, in the spirit of Valentines day we wanted to share with you our one true love, Millinery!
www.princesspalles.com was formed our of a hat passion for luxury affordable fashion. We noticed that high quality millinery at a high street cost was not easy to find, plus the colour never quite matched the dress we wanted to wear! And so Princess Palles Millinery facebook page was born and then came www.princesspalles.com in the summer of 2012.
All our pieces are designed and handmade by ourselves (Jane &
Sandra) to a high standard and come fully lined. We are CCOI members since
November 2013. All our pieces can be customised in any colour or we can make
bespoke commissioned pieces.
We operate from our home studio in Dublin and welcome customers to visit
us there. We also sell via www.swoop.ie and supply a number of retail stores in the Leinster area
and plan to grow this reach in 2014.
Watch out for Princess Palles Millinery SS14 collection launching in the coming weeks. We have 3 distinct collections that we are very excited about.

Leopardstown Christmas Races 28th December 2013
There was a welcome break in the wild weather for The Lexus
Chase day at Leopardstown on 28th December. Ladies arriving in their
finery were thanking their lucky stars that the sun was shining for the glamorous
ladies day festivities.
The prize up for grabs was a €5,000 voucher to spend in
Brown Cow and a luxury two night B&B stay at the beautiful Mount Juliet. Xpose’s
Lisa Canon was the judge on the day. She looked beautiful as always and she
wore a Philip Tracey hat for the occasion. There was also a lot of interest in
her accessories as a few women surrounded her to get a look at the beautiful
diamond engagement ring on her hand.
The Palles Clan are always in attendance at Christmas. It is
one of the best festivals of the year and the fashion never disappoints.
Thankfully the marquee was still standing after the gales and rain the previous
day. Everyone was in good spirits and
that Christmas cheer was in the air.
There was a great mix of styles on the day, from a Victorian
inspired full length coat, to a modern feather Mohawk hat by Mark T Burke. The
rich berry tones and furs were turning heads throughout the day. We spotted a
race goer in one of our PrincessPalles hats, bought from Ruby Rouge in Gorey.
It’s wonderful to see a piece on a strangers head!
Our own Princess Lorraine was picked as a top ten finalist
for the ladies day title. She bagged a
prize worth over €200 in products from Vita Liberata. Nice!
Lorraine wore a coat from Miss Selfridge, belt from tk maxx,
shoes from Pennys and a custom PrincessPalles hat.
Lisa announced Suzanne McGarry as the winner. Suzanne wore a
beautiful vintage camel coat with amazing fur cuffs bought from ebay.
Underneath was a matching camel dress. Her hat was camel and cream to tie in
with the outfit. She looked really elegant and a very worthy winner.
